Affordable weighing modules - easy installation

This set allows for quick and easy installation of professional weighing technology under silos, tanks, or other containers and structures. The installation and wiring of a weight indicator is not necessary.

Flexible load introduction

The special design of the load introduction with the moveable mounting plate compensates for torsion and inclination in all directions.

High accuracy

The weighing modules use high-resolution shear-force load cells, which are also used in calibrated scales. These offer better resolution than the round compression load cells typically used in silo scales.

Weigh directly with your phone

Your mobile phone replaces the weight indicator. Simply approach the scale with your phone and read the weight directly in the app.

Ready for use - no expertise required

The weighing technology set is fully wired and tested in operation at our facility. The weighing electronics are calibrated using a calibration weight, and the necessary parameters are set. You can start using the scale immediately after installation.

FAQ

For which weighing applications can the weighing modules be used?

The weighing modules can be used for any type of scale construction. They are ideal for installation under silo feet or under containers and other structures.

Why are installation modules useful?

When using shear-force load cells, the horizontal offset of the force results in the bending moment required for measurement in the load cell. This bending moment must be neutralized by the construction to which the load cell is attached. This means the area where the load cell is attached must be strong enough to safely absorb the bending moment without bending or straining. This is usually not guaranteed at the base of a silo, which is why the weighing module takes on this task. Additionally, the module allows the silo to be secured to the ground, preventing it from tipping over.

How strong is the lifting security designed?

The lifting security in the Agris weighing modules is provided by the load cell and load introduction itself and is limited to the maximum load of the load cell. Therefore, the module is not suitable for tall silos in outdoor areas, where strong wind forces are expected.

By how much does the silo height increase with the weighing modules?

Due to the space-saving construction of the load introduction, the overall height of the module is only between 95 and 110 mm, depending on the adjustment of the attachment parts. The total height of the construction will increase by this amount.

How are the weighing modules attached to a silo?

For a silo, a weighing module is mounted under each base foot. The base plate, which previously rested on the ground, is now placed on the round plate of the module. The module is secured with screws and washers, and the upper module mounting plate is attached to the silo base using screws.
