Connection cable between scale and PC

This cable is used to connect the electronics box in the weighing platform to the USB box on the PC. On the one hand, the weighing electronics are supplied with voltage via this cable connection and, on the other hand, the data exchange is carried out via an RS485 interface.

Waterproof screw connectors

The plugs are fully assembled on the cable and are dust and waterproof according to protection class IP67.

FAQ

What's the cable's maximum length?

To ensure a secure data connection, the cable should not be longer than 100 m. In individual cases, longer cables are also used, but the reliability of data transmission cannot be guaranteed.

Can the plugs be removed to pull in the cable and then reinstalled?

Basically yes, but the connections in the plug are soldered. This means that the wires must be desoldered and then professionally soldered again.

Can a cable consist of several parts?

Theoretically yes, the plugs would fit. However, every additional cable connection represents a source of error. The part of the cable that is pulled into a hose must definitely be in one piece.
