Shear Force Load Cell SBL8S

The shear force load cell SBL8S is suitable as a standard load cell for most weighing applications. In the agricultural sector, it is used for platforms, animal scales, integration in machines such as fertilizer spreaders, seed drills, wrapping machines, balers, feed mixers, trailers, etc.

The load cell is dust- and waterproof according to protection class IP68 (suitable up to 1 meter underwater), with a breaking load of 150%.

In practice, the weak point is often not the load cell itself but the stand or mounting screws. With the large dimensioned thread, robust stands or screws can be used. Load cells between 500 kg and 2,000 kg, for example, have an M16 thread instead of the usual M12.

The load cell can be operated with a resolution of up to 10,000 divisions in checkweighers. A scale with a nominal load of 2,000 kg thus has a resolution of 0.2 kg.

Despite its high-quality technical data, the SBL8S load cell offers a very affordable price.
