Corrosion-free weighing cells made of stainless steel
Especially with fertilizer spreaders, corrosion is promoted by aggressive materials and water during cleaning. Standard weighing cells therefore rust relatively quickly. Stainless steel weighing cells prevent this.

FAQ
How and where should the weighing technology be installed?
The weighing cells must be installed in such a way that after installation, the fertilizer container only rests on the 4 weighing cells. No other point may transfer force between the frame and container.
Which fertilizer spreaders can the weighing technology be installed on?
The installation works best on spreaders where the container is mounted on its own frame, and this frame is screwed to the substructure. Many models from Rauch meet this requirement. For models without a separate frame for the container, installation is much more difficult.
How high is the installation effort?
The images on this page show the installation in a Rauch MDS fertilizer spreader. Depending on the conditions, the installation is typically completed in ½ to 1 day.
Are the mounting plates for securing the weighing cells included?
No, these vary depending on the type of installation and are usually made from flat steel.
How does the Spreader app work?
The app automatically connects the smartphone to the weighing indicator via Bluetooth when started. The weights are read from the indicator, stabilized if necessary, and displayed. The smartphone's GPS receiver determines the positions and travel speed. The currently applied amount per hectare is calculated based on the decreasing weight, set working width, section width, and speed during travel.
How does the headland automation of the Spreader app work?
When the spreader is switched off at the headland and then switched on again in the track, the calculation of the applied amount and spread area must be paused and restarted. This can be done manually in the app, but it is not practical. Therefore, a speed value for automatic pausing and restarting can be set in the app's settings.
The calculation starts manually at the field's beginning, then the automation is active. If the speed is exceeded, the calculation starts; if the speed is undercut, the calculation pauses. The automation can be manually overridden during fast and long headland passes and then reactivated.

How accurate is the area calculation via the smartphone's GPS receiver?
The area calculation (via the traveled distance or speed) is optimized by the Agreto Spreader app as best as possible. With modern smartphones, the calculation works surprisingly well. However, the accuracy depends on the quality of the GPS reception and the GPS receiver. Therefore, a precise accuracy value cannot be given. In practice, it has been shown that the accuracy often deviates by only a few percentage points from professional GPS systems. The results naturally fluctuate at the beginning of the spreading process, but over time, more data is collected, and the calculated amount per hectare stabilizes, yielding a reliable value.
