Corrosion-resistant weighing cells made of stainless steel
Fertilizer spreaders are particularly susceptible to corrosion due to aggressive materials and water during cleaning. Standard weighing cells tend to rust quickly. Stainless steel weighing cells prevent this.

FAQ
How and where should the weighing technology be installed?
The weighing cells must be installed in such a way that after installation, the fertilizer container only rests on the four weighing cells. No other point should transfer force between the frame and the container.
Which fertilizer spreaders can have the weighing technology installed?
The installation works best on spreaders where the container is mounted on its own frame, which is attached to the subframe with screws. This condition is met by many models from Rauch. For models without a separate frame for the container, the installation is considerably more difficult.
How high is the installation effort?
The images on this page show the installation in a Rauch MDS fertilizer spreader; depending on the conditions, the installation can be completed in about ½ to 1 day.
Are the mounting plates for the weighing cell installation included in the scope of delivery?
No, these depend on the installation method and are usually custom-made from flat steel.
