10.9.2018 Hour meter AGRETO AgriCounter Vibration

AGRETO has improved the well-known operating hours meter based on vibration. The new "AgriCounter Vibration" can distinguish between working time and travel time due to the position of the device and, if desired, adds up both times separately. External sensors are not required. Therefore the time recording is absolutely tamper-proof.

More and more agricultural machines are running in communities or tenancies. However, many of these machines do not have their own on-board electronics for billing the operating times. The safest way to determine the operating hours of these machines is to install a vibration meter that adds up time as the machine moves. For billing, however, usually only the realoperating time is relevant. With the AgriCounter Vibration, it is now possible to implement this differentiation between realworking time (use on the field) and transport time (road travel) tamper-proof without external sensors. A serious billing according to the real wear of the machine is possible. Service intervals can also be optimized by recording the wear-relevant working time.

The AgriCounter is mounted so that it is in a different position when the machine is in working position than in the transport position. For this purpose,it is mounted on a side part, which is folded up during transport or on a chassis that is dug in use. For applications outside the recommended mounting position, the angles for the position of the working position can be configured. Depending on the setting, the device can display the total time, only the working time, only the transport time, or both. The times are displayed either in the format hhhh: mm (hours and minutes) or hhhh, hh (hours with 2 decimal places). The necessary intensity for activating the sensor can also be set so that, for example, slight movements of the machine during the attachment process or during maintenance work are filtered out by the AgriCounter.

Machine applications are associated with high costs, so a billing-relevant time recording must be absolutely tamper-proof. The AgriCounter Vibration works without external sensors, is permanently switched on and has no operating options for the user. After mounting, a supplied, clearly numbered seal is attached. After that, dismounting, battery replacement or operating functions such as zeroing or setting settings are only possible by visible destruction of the seal. If the AgriCounter is to be mounted on another machine or the batteries have to be changed after years, the owner can use one of the further 5 included seals.

The AgriCounter has a one-piece, transparent housing, which is mounted with 4 screws on the stainless steel mounting plate. The sealing surface is not directly accessible from the outside. The display and the electronics are sealed and lie in the protected interior of the housing. Thanks to this construction, the device is dustproof and waterproof according toIP69k (high-pressure-resistant) and suitable for many years of use in demanding environments.

Worldwide distribution takes place via the wholesale trade, in the german-speaking countries via the AGRIS GmbH and the specialized trade. For manufacturers and OEM partners, AGRETO products can be adapted to specific design and functionality requirements.
